This custom machined rod end will repair and restore your Genesis Coupe's shifting quality. Over time the OEM rod end will wear out and lead to excessive play in the shift shaft when a gear is engaged. This part replaces all the pieces of the factory component with precision machined quality parts made from hardened steel and brass. We also include a new double roll pin to secure the assembly to your transmission.
Installation (while not complicated) does need to completed when the transmission is out of the vehicle. The ideal time to replace this part is when servicing the transmission or replacing the clutch.
Optional roll pin punch tools are available to make installation quick and painless.
