Installing the regular off the shelf ARP main studs in your Hyundai Theta block can be very challenging and frustrating. The length of the stud is such that you need to set the install height on each individual fastener. There is no positive stop in the bottom of the block letting you know the threads have fully engaged. It ends up being a guessing game and can lead to nuts backing off due to less than complete thread engagement.
To fix this issue we made these custom studs that feature a bull nose end that positively seats in the engine block. Every stud is installed properly and at the same height. You will have full thread engagement on both the bottom and top of the stud ensuring maximum clamping force on the engine main caps. An absolute must have for anyone seeking to maximize their engine build and take full advantage of the upgraded parts being used.
